A food picture

So, i know I've been remiss in not posting any food pictures. Tonight we ate at Restaurant Stern in the hotel of the same name. They do locally sourced ingredients in contemporary swiss dishes. And the cute part is they serve the apps in shot glasses like this





From left to right: alpine cheese croquets with wild garlic pesto; asparagus salad with herb vinaigrette; cream of asparagus soup with beef carpaccio ( the beef is actually sitting piled on a lid over the soup. The jars were fun and quite yummy. Then Todd had a local pork chop, and i had lake trout. Dessert was also served in little shot glasses... Strawberry mousse and frozen coffee parfait. yum!!
